This wall-hanging cross is a replica of a stone cross found in the ruins of the Monasterboice monastery, near Mellifont Abbey in Co. Louth, Ireland. Ivy and shamrocks cover the cross, which has an intricate Celtic knot at its center. At the top of the cross is the IHS symbol, IHS being the first three letters of the Greek spelling of Jesus.
