Slane Abbey Cross

(No reviews yet) Write a Review

Inspired by a stone cross found in the ruins of a friary in Slane in Co. Meath, Ireland, this wall-hanging cross is made of a mix of concrete and gypsum. The shamrocks represent the Holy Trinity and Ireland itself, the shining heart represents Christ, and the swirls represent spiritual growth. On the side of the cross, the craftspeople have carved an Irish blessing: "May your blessings outnumber the shamrocks."
