The original Tralee cross is made of stone and stands among the ruins of Muckross Friary in Co. Kerry, Ireland. This wall-hanging replica features the same variety of Celtic knotwork, which represents eternal life. Below the center of the cross is a highly stylized bird, possibly a swan.
