The original version of this wall-hanging cross is a 6' 6" stone cross built in the early 7th century at a monastery in Co. Donegal, Ireland. The thick Celtic knot that travels the length of the cross represents the Tree of Life, with the circles at the center representing fruit. The Tree of Life is an international symbol of knowledge, eternity, and the connection between heaven and earth.
