This wall-hanging cross is a replica of a 17' stone cross found in the graveyard of Moen Cholum Cille, where an early monastery once stood, in Co. Kildare, Ireland. The cross features a number of domesticated animals, perhaps to confer blessings unto them. It is a testament to the significance animals have always had in people's lives. The spirals at the top of the cross represent the cycles of life, the seasons, etc.
